1)Getting the Good Book:-
I have read SCJP 1.5 by K&B. Its the good book to start with. You feel like classroom environment while reading this book.


2) Solving the Quiz Questions after each chapter:
You must NOT skip this part of book, this provides you the information about, "How better you understood the topics of the chapter". After solving the Quiz Questions, comes the important thing, You may skip the answers which are correct according your logic, But you must compare your logic for solution and the correct logic. Where you have made the mistake and start making your own rules(points) and dont make the mistake again.


3)Repeat the Cycle:- You must go through the book minimum of 3 times.

4)Solve as many model papers as you can:-
After you have read enough, Solve test papers and Mock exams. Check yourself that in which areas you feel confident and in which areas you feel confused. Go through those objectives where you have confusion and make points clear enough.

5)Now solve the dumps:-Nobody wants to get bad % after preparing so much. That's the reason I prefer to solve the dumps. Solving the dumps gives you the idea of real exam questions pattern and also boost your confidence level to extreme heights.

Finally don't give gaps in between preparation days for any reason, If you are very busy, take out atleast 15mins time and just revise the topics you already covered every day. Remember "Out of sight means Out of mind..".
